Italy's hot-spots

Italy is the place to go for great food, famous artwork, the best wine, breathtaking sights, and so much more! Some of its most famous cities include Rome (Roma), Venice (Venezia), Milan (Milano), Florence (Firenze), and Naples (Napoli). For four months, I lived in the historic city of Siena, right outside of Florence, and traveled to several different regions of the country to experience everything they had to offer. Future postings will be about where to go and what to do in this beautiful country, and helpful tricks I learned about being a traveler in Italy.

If you want to do some research of your own check out this Italy travel guide.

Last winter session, I was in Venice as part of a study abroad trip. It was their Carnevale when we were there, do you have any idea why this tradition started in Venice and not another Italian city?
